The Essence Of Candid Photography

In my opinion these three photos capture the essence of candid photography. Beautiful unsuspecting subjects captured in public without violating their reasonable expectation of privacy.

I have been made aware of a lens attachment
that looks like a hood but contains a mirror
placed at a 45 looking out the side at a 90

I must have or build one. Can you imagine
standing right beside someone with your
camera pointed away from them while you
take your time to compose and focus?

Can't wait.

I have had this thing for over two decades and it's useless.
Hold a small mirror in front of your camera at an angle of 45 degrees to find out why it sucks.
