Pre PMA Surprise Announcement: Canon 25D!!!

Canon today announced the introduction of the EOS 25D, a refreshing
of the 20D model. "This product represents best that Canon listens
to its customers.", says Canon rep Hugene Rickshawn. Sporting user
request like easier to read ISO numbers, a revised battery door, WA
CF card support as well as J.O.K. support, mounts for an optional
LCD protector, a new Focusing Screen option (similar to the
MarkIIds, ed.), and a revised battery grip (backward compatible
with the 20D, ed.). Software improvements come from a firmer
firmware that is compatible with the 20D as well. Improvements
include an additional histogram mode where it is double exposed
over the full screen image on the display, as well as support for
instant mounting on PC's and Macs as a Harddrive.

Also included is a new creative mode called NAKD. Its a modified
Nightvision mode to use during the daylight that allow for
unobstructed views of people's pink parts. Geared for the niche
market of entrepreneuring advant guarde web-based galleries, it
places the 25D in a similar niche market as the IR based 20Da's
astronomy market. "We found this Creative Mode particularly popular
in the asian market" says the Canon Rep, adding with a wink "Now
they feel like they can have a Hugene Rickshawn of their own!".
This may answer the question why a new kit was added to the line up
that includes Astro-Glide and extra lens tissue.

Also, a new ES-L lens systen was introduced for non english
speaking canon users. More on that later.

the camera looks water-proof if it is that's a very nice feature.

Sorry. Begining with this release, all superior Canon products will sport this highly identifiable color. You should be a proud owner of a caution yellow camera as it will signify your commitment to and recognition of excellence and will identify your membership in the elite cadre of educated photographers. One merely must look at the obvious advantages of sporting the coveted white Canon telephoto lens as a mark of superiority to understand the value of this advance in aesthetic design. Shoot Canon, shoot proud!
