Paint shop Vs. Photoshop?

But so many of my friends are using Photoshop that I don't feel complete without it.

So I think I'll pick it up this winter sometime. I'd like to get the hang of Camera Raw so I can efficeintly handle RAW files too.

Paintshop (at least PS pro 8 and 9) sucks at resizing, but rules in cropping conveniency and saturation enhancement, for instance. It rules in general from an ergonomical point of view.

And whats up with the edgy picture when you view it in Photoshop. That just plain sucks.
