New Canon PowerShot S2 IS

I had decided on the Panasonic FZ20 a while back... but was waiting a little bit to see if Panasonic would announce a new camera as the FZ20 is a year old. I'm glad I waited... Canon has announced the PowerShot S2 IS. Same focal range (36-432mm, F2.7-3.5), also a 5 MP cam, but there are a few little differences...

This one doesn't have a hotshoe like the FZ20... but does have the option of a wireless flash add-on.

The Canon is smaller and lighter than the FZ20, and also has the swivel LCD!

It's also got a better video mode, stereo sound, and 0 cm Macro.

No RAW... but I'm not familiar enough with it or Photoshop to matter.

Reading the info on it... it sounds like it's pretty much the perfect camera for me.

It's also going to retail for $500 (June), like the FZ20.
