What is ignorant my friend is that you assumed I was generalizing. One of the nicest people I have ever known was a Mexican girl that I worked with. The thing is when you atre working and they come in in droves you gotta refer to them as they because there's no time to get to know them on a namre by name basis. Stop committing the errors you protest against by making hasty assumptions.

hey snappin..after re-reading what i wrote, I didnt mean for it to come out that way. I just really get upset when race issues come to play, especially when I have never considered it an issue.

In the end, we all have our different beliefs about life and what not and we have all experienced different things. Therefore, it would be stupid for us to sit down and discuss about them. Politics, religion and race are subjects people will never agree on, so I will quit debating this manner and ignore this thread because i do not think any good is going to come out of it.

Well, I appreciate what you just said. I agree with what CB said about loving all races for the women.

I mentioned the Mexican girl I worked with a few posts ago....if everyone will indulge me in a little story that is related to what we are discussing but not about what we were debating I think you might find it interesting. She came from California, had been in a gang (she called me her "homey") but had made something of herself. However for reasons I didn't ask her driver's license had been revoked there, so when she came to MY state they would not give her her driver's license here either. She got caught driving without her license in the very city where I had gotten arrested for taking candids, so I took a personal interest in her well being. She has a court date at 8:30 am and seeing as she has to drive about an hour and a half, she ends up being 15 minutes late. Well, anyone who's been to court for the most minor of violations knows that it takes a while for your name to be called...imagine if your last name is Ramirez, they aren't getting to you in 15 minutes. But they are waiting for her on the steps with a warrant already in hand for her arrest....for failure to appear in court. They handcuff the poor girl and throw her in jail.

The legal system is really messed up in that city. I have a hard time believing a middle class white girl would have gotten the same treatment.

We have high level legal people who get in the gov't and presses face to ensure...some accountalbility of what is true. We do know the reason for the war is false...and complete lies on this current gov't part...I am ashamed of that...as an american. We track, and I have seen every photo of every dead young person in Iraq.
And it does not matter what race they are....there are as you say 2000 dead...over 17,000 wounded, without arms and legs and severe brain damage injuries....unfourtunatly, unlike past wars medical technology has saved many who would have died 20 years ago....so there lives are fucked and the families of the dead and wounded are to many to count....but over 100,000 american lives have changed forever because of GW and his Neofites, and there thirst for power and oil.
Not excluding the over 100,000 Iraqi dead....how many Iraqi wounded ...who knows....every person in that country will live with this for the rest of there lives.....and the poor children.
Goverments are idiotic to a point because of the idiots who run them...they take credit for good...when they are not responsible.
and refuse responsibililty...when it is totally there fault.
