ive been at my job now for a little over 3 months. i work in the kitchen of american girl cafe @ american girl place. the job is ok but it's the PEOPLE that i cant take. somehow the higher power decided to hire all these people that didnt speak english but only spanish. they know a few words here and there but most of the time it's spanish when they talk to each other. IT KILLS ME when i heard 'chino' in their sentence because they're talkin bout me. id yell at them but they'll just give me a blank look cuz they dont understand it!! URRGGGGG damn these people!!! besides me, there are only a few others that can speak english and ones that i really care to talk to.

get one of your friends to come in to your job and have him yell

"IMMIGRATION"

how about you take an express beginners course in spanish, that way you get a clue what they are saying, at the same time you know that they don´t know you understand them

I like what ebonikat, and LCSC have to say, anc concur. Bigotry merely leads to internalization of misery. I'd go with rattlemetal, and makes friends out of these guys. Remember when someone speaks in a strange accent, he or she knows atleast one language more than you. Cheers!

-they dont know more languages more than me. all they know is spanish.

i dont hate them because they are another race. i have spanish friends. it just kills me that they're talkin in spanish all the time and about me sometimes.
