HOw did you guys find this site?

i know a bunch of you guys were invited from the other joint and you guys invited some more people. for me, there use to be this site that was a search engine for pics. it doesnt exist anymore. i'd type in 'candids' and would lead to this place. a few of the times, i couldnt view the attachments and after all that, i decided to join. i signed on under another name before this one. i forgot the password for that so i made this one. now we're one big crazy family of photographers from around the world.

on another note, WHERE THE HELL IS STUFF?

havent seen him around in more than a month now. i miss his crazy humor and animated gifs

I found a clue on TCB. I forget exactly how I did it.
Maybe figured it out when they (***) asterisked out names of other sites but now that I think about it, it might have been a link that led to another link which was CO.

Funny thing though, after I found CO, a formerly high ranking member whom I am positive got an invitation here, posted a cryptic note on TCB with clues leading to this place... Knowing he was referring to CO, it was easy to figure out.
I'm not sure it would have been so easy otherwise...

Firstly I was just trying to find some nice high res photos in pbase and other image hosting sites. Then I found that 'candid' was the keyword and entered a new world. After that, it wasn't long before I stumbled here. Firstly not so impressed, when there wasn't galleries of pictures, but then maybe it was ParisBoy's post, that got me convinced... this place was worth the time consumed here!

Olympus had posted a comment over at the other place and he spelled out candidography in the post by capitalizing the letters and the rest is history. I've enjoyed being here ever since.

Someone (Pez?) posted a link to the first issue of the e-zine at TCB. As I was reading the articles, I noticed the word "Candidography" kept getting used as a reference to, someplace - so I googled it.

exactly 2 years ago I joined this forum.
Back then it was a private forum.
Candidographers only, no lurkers allowed.

Stumbled onto "the other site" by accident. Poked around a bit and left it at that. A few weeks later I thought I would visit again but didn't have "the other site" bookmarked so I did some type of "large search engine" search with a few key/random words and found "the other site" and this site.

By that time "the other site" was all up in arms about who knows what anymore and this site seemed straight forward so here I am.
