Most of you that post over at TCB will know who I am, but I'm going to be posting exclusively over here now. I look forward to helping make this board grow. My shooting season starts in a couple weeks at a track meet.

With the CANDID CHALLENGE... it can be a lot of fun !

I'm just praying the weather is good at that track meet. If not, there are other ones. I have the itch to take some pictures, it's been a LONG winter.

The challenge does look very interesting.

Satan, to answer your question, I guess I don't see what the motivation would be. At TCB we have a board that is developed, a board that many of us have been members of for a long ass time, so why would we want to switch over to another candid board? Why leave something that's good? Is the mentality here, or the shots here, or the attitudes here, different? In other words, my question of "why would we leave TCB" is not meant to be rhetorical, I'm genuinely wondering what the difference is. Other than the fact that there is no uppie section here (one of my favorite sections).

One thing here, and I haven't spent all that much time here, is that when I've gone to threads, they have like 3 pics in them. That was kind of a bummer.

Mag, I hope there's no feelings. I hope its just that you felt like moving on and nothing personal with me, or anyone else. It sure as hell wasn't meant to be that, at least from me. Just thought we could have a nice friendly, maybe heated at times though it stayed pretty calm, discussion about an important topic. Hope that's not really why you left. I felt it was something that needed to be discussed, it was, and now its settled. And in fact, my opinion lost, and I actually converted in several ways based on some wonderful insight given to me by big and GC (as much as I hate to admit that GC convinced me of anything!)

anyway, good luck over here. But please do know that your presence is missed at TCB and do come back if you feel at all inclined!!! Maybe if you feel like it you could even come over and explain to us why you left so we can stop gossiping like schoolgirls

You don't owe us an explanation, but we'd sure listen
