Texas Renaissance Festival

Renaissance festivals are a great place to get lots of good candid (and not-so-candid) shots. If you get the chance, consider going to a ren fest, and bring your camera! I took these pics at the Texas Renaissance Festival last weekend.

One of my favorite things about these festivals is the outfits the girls wear. Cleavage galore!

And speaking of cleavage, this girl deserves a section all her own. I saw her working at one of the food booths. I tried to get a shot of her as she faced me, but every time I brought the camera up to my eye she'd turn away.

I thought I was going to have to settle for some profile shots of her, until later when I walked by her booth again and saw her posing for someone else's camera. Of course I jumped in and took some shots of my own.

I was glad I was able to get some nice frontal shots of her, but I wasn't entirely satisfied as people kept walking in my way when I took the shots. Luckily I saw her again as she was leaving at the end of the day.

It wasn't just the girls who were working there that were sporting the cleavage.

This girl caught my eye early in the day but I was never able to get a good pic of her. For a while I thought I was going to have to settle for this rear shot of her.

Then I saw her standing in front of this booth, talking to a friend. I took a shot of her from a distance.

Then, lo and behold, she started walking my way. Of course at this point I was sitting on a bench, enjoying a $2.50 bottle of water. I dropped the bottle of water, picked up my cam and fired off a quick shot. I think I caught her by surprise.

And then to my surprise, she stopped and posed for me.

I don't think these pics do her justice. The way she moved made her seem so much sexier in person. We made small talk for a few minutes, then she was on her way. For some reason I was exhausted after that, and decided to go home.

SHIT! I just realized I haven't made it to the Ren Fair closest to me yet, and I think I'm too late

But that's OK...because I'll be checking out your shots of that girl in red for a long, long time! Wow...that is one awesome girl, and I'm glad you stuck with her and got those great shots!
