New Rules Regarding This Site

Satan and I have decided that this Board needs some direction and more promotion. So we are in the process of giving this wonderful Board some direction and are actively promoting it. We hope you will all become more active here as we are inviting many new shooters to post here. We also hope you will also participate in inviting more Candid Shooters and lovers of Candid Photography in general here.

Who the hell am I?

I Was born in London, Ontario, Canada Sept. 21, 1955. I love photography and the female form and average about 11,000 photos per year. I frequent as many events and photograph as many pretty ladies as possible. I have excellent photographic equipment and only take High Quality photography. I photograph everything from Nature to Models. I work as a Photographer/Promoter and get a percentage of any jobs I get Models. Of course, my real passion is the wonderful world of Candid Photography and I enjoy capturing multi-faceted feminine beauty unawares, and just being themselves.

Regarding the direction we would like this Board to take:

Satan has provided us with many Sister Sites that allow Web Finds. For this reason they will not be allowed here. We would like this Board to be a place where lovers of Candid Photography can enjoy the beauty of the Feminine Form in a format that is both pleasing to the eye and of good quality. To accomplish this, we will also be imposing size limitations and only photos of a reasonable quality will be allowed.

Regarding photo sizes:

We are mainly concerned about photos that are so large, that they are not pleasant to view as the Members viewing them have to scroll back and forth to view them and the quality becomes none existent. I think most experienced photographers will agree that this is not a pleasant viewing experience.

The main concern with photo sizes is the width. As mentioned earlier, shots that are too wide and throw the board page all out of whack are not pleasant to view and the quality is severely compromised. Therefore, we would ask that you keep your photo widths to no less then 600px and not more than 1600px. With an upload size of no more than 1 MB.
As we progress we will provide Tutorials regarding the editing of your photographs so they will be the best they can be. We are here to help should you require it.

In Summary we hope you will support this Board with you photographs, comments, and help to promote this wonderful Site.

GOod to see U try to care about this place...I wish There will be lots shooter who will join.
I have a question about the 1600??I alway edit 1800x1200 I think it's a perfect format...Will it be allowed??
800 is not too bad but 100 can be better too...800 for a normal shot is ok but for hq we wll need to diminute the quality at 8 or 9 and lost lots quality...

The only thing about when it comes to linking a BIG picture in a thread is I have stats on what size the majority our member use as screen size.

And it is 1024. So I think for the main big picture used to lead off a thread... that should be shrunk down to a reasonable size so not to have the who thread made to scroll.

Well, they would certainly be allowed to post at 1024. But the main reason for the larger sizes is to show the quality of the shot and subject. For HQ shooters this is a must as 1024 does not allow for this view. Scrolling up and down is fine...it's the width we should be concerned about. If cropped properly, a shot at even 1800 wide can be used to focus on a particular part of the subject and will be properly centered when loaded.

I am only suggesting the 1 main pic be reduced to fit on a 1024 screen. So even 800 for a main picture would be better. Of course a FULL size picture of the main can also be uploaded to download full size.

They rest of the pictures can be what ever you guys decide.

I have stats showing the majority of the members use a screen size of 1024. So we should try to work with what he majority uses.

I am only making this suggestion as a "member". What ever you guys decide in the end if fine with me.
