My First Post - Introduction

Thanks for taking the time to do open this thread. Since Satan was so kind to invite me over to this fine forum. I figured I would start by telling everyone a little about myself.

I started shooting candid back in high school when I took a black and white photography class. A few girls asses walking down the hall or a quick shot when a girl wasn't looking. My first camera was an Olympus stylus. It was small and compact and I would carry it with me all the time. It was a point a shoot film camera. I spent a lot on film but I was fortunate enough to become friends with the local developer so he gave me a deal because he shared my love of candid photography.

My first digital camera was a Sony mavica. It was HUGE but it was digital. I got it right after I bought my first computer. I knew digital was the only way I could shoot as much as I wanted with out the cost of film and developing.

My second camera's was the Olympus 2000 and over a few years I keep upgrading to the 5050. My first SLR camera which I still have is the Canon D60. Now I shoot with a Canon:10D. The use a Sigma 24-70 MM and Canon EF 100-400mm. For video a Sony VX2000 & Sony PC101. I love my 100 - 400 Canon lens, It is big and heavy but I always shoot with a mono pod and never try to hide it. I also like to carry a pocket handheld Sony Cybershot camera. I seem to go through them very quickly. I guess because I am always shooting and I always have it in my pocket ready to shoot. I have a bunch of assorted camera's like a pinhole for shoecamming, Infrared security camera's but I really don't get much use out of them.

I really enjoy everything about shooting candids but I have to admit I get the most excitement from voyeur upskirts. I guess it is more of the thrill of seeing something I am not suppose to but being quick on the camera trigger. I also enjoy shooting in clubs when everyone is having a good time and you can see from that in the shots.

I work on websites full time. I bought TheCandidBoard from TheBoss about 2 years ago, it has since turned into a full time job with 2 full time programmers and a full time person for support and answering emails. The maintenance and support is something that needs to be attended to 15 + hours a day ... everyday ! I have the help of the mods of course and that helps a lot.

I really like seeing my results after a hard day/night of shooting. Capturing that one shot of a subject makes it all worth it... of course it is better when there is more than one... but I love it when I know I nailed it.

I really hate not being able to capture my subject. Something got in the way or if I wasn't quick enough on the shutter button.

In my spare time I like to swim, I like going to go go bars. Watching new DVD movies. Mountain Biking.

I really enjoy spending the time to edit my video or pictures. As soon as I get back from shooting I download all my images onto my computer... I then clean out all the blurry or out of focus shots. Any shot that doesn't have some kind of appeal is removed. That can sometimes be the hard part.... because even if I don't like it ... doesn't mean someone else would not like it. I try to find at least something that makes the images worth keeping. Then I will sort them by subject or theme. Then I will pull out my personal favorites based on subject, over all visual quality. I will hand edit all the images adjusting the contrast and brightness. I may airbrush some imperfections our using the stamp, healing brush or patch tool in Photo shop. I may use the blur tool to bring more attention to the subject but most of the time I like to leave the background to give the shot some extra personality. If needed I may use an sharpening filter. I save everything at 1024 and then upload it.

I have never really been busted other than the occasional stare ... as I said before I really don't hide my camera and I am easy to see shooting with a big lens and mono pod.

My friends and Family know I have always loved shooting pictures. Most of seen them also.

I would like to get a underwater housing for shooting underwater.

For some reason people think I am a interesting subject. So I have also been the subject of many candid shots. If I bust them I always give them a pose. Then I check it out in there view finder.

Looks like a great place you guys have here..... looking forward to working on my Candidography skills, I know I have a lot to learn to be able to keep up with the quailty Candidographers you have here !

you might want to read the rules first before you continue to post.
voyeurism and degrading terms are not allowed here.
you can't pay models to pose shots either.

you took a perfectly good candid board and turned it into a cess pool.
the type of filth you have over there is offensive to a lot of us.
it objectifies women and degrades them.
catagories like upskirt, downblouse, etc are something to be ashamed of.
your "Total Invasion of Privacy" as you put it, gives the legit people a bad rep.

Yeah I seen your work and to be honest I am a HUGE fan !

TCB or NNG has'nt been the same since you stopped posting on both !

I never misled anyone... everything was alwasys upfront.... Free Hosting for a small watermark on all the pictures I host.
