I host a Forum in the buisness world that receives approx 20,000 hits per month.
It cost me approx $45.00 a month. I don't know if your exceeds this or not but it probably does. Making this a "pay pr view" is pretty smart on your part here, because a lot of revenue could be produced from advertising along.

To those bitching, you should know. Nothing in life is free. I myself enjoyed the forum when it was free, but won't use it any more. I posted good images as time allowed, but unlike others it was not a full time obsession..

This board receives around 10k uniques perday and around 40k raw per day.

Having it pay to participate fully was a smart move as it's cut down on badwidth and it's not as server intensive as it used to be. Figure in one day, this board gets what your server gets in 30 days, pretty crazy eh?

Sorry you're not going to stick around, it's only gotten better since the changes. You're out here in the same area as me, we should try and hook up sometime.

Edit: Also it's only play to participate when it comes to viewing photos.

40k hits a month, nice. Do you think he meant pages? Cause that would have made it just a bit more busy. If we're going to talk Hits......my guess would be cO does about 20 million a month. Am I close, am I close? Or maybe 20 mil page turns and 35 million hits. Tough call.
