Imagine my surprise when I find that not one, but TWO of my photos are in the inaugural class!!!

I don't know what to say....

You guys are like Aikman, Emmitt, and Irvin of the Cowboys: The consumate all-star pros, carrying the load.

But I am extremely honored to have those shots chosen. I really am. "You guys love me! You really love me!!!" :)

Hopefully I can contribute many more in the future. I'll be tryin', that's for sure!

One quick note about number nine, my avatar lady. She's sitting on the edge of a huge fountain bowl that was not running that day. If you'll notice she is smoking a cigarette. Anyway, it's like she is a miniature doll, sitting on the rim of the world's largest ashtray. :)

Pretty strange to hear somebody from D.C. making a Cowboy's comparison!

Jimian's first induction came about in the normal course of going through posts. The second one (which is referred to by CB and Jimian) was just so stunning that it went up for instant nomination.

Again, I ask you not to be discouraged if a favorite of yours (or even one of your shots) is not yet included. We're working hard, plus we have a few committee members out of town, which also slows down the process a bit.

One more comment on the lovely asian: Look at the way she is holding her phone. The tenderness of her grip. So soft. I don't think delicacy could be personified any better!
