Okay, you all know I'm just a point and shoot guy. I was at an indoor event the other night and was shooting without the flash. I had the shutter at 1/60 and exposure at +1. I can reduce the size and it clears up the noise on some pictures but some have too much and I have to make the pics very small to get rid of it. I read a post here a week or two ago about a photo program that can eliminate noise. Any suggestions on what I should get? By the way, I use Photosuite for my post-processing now.

Or you can use stuff like ,paint shop pro 1-9, adobe photoshop 5-7
Or you can use my fav Gimp 2.0 it's FREE :-)

But they are all digital manipulation tools = not only to remove noise :p

Noise Ninja works really well. They have a 30 free trial I believe.
You didnt hear from me that you may be able to crack it.

Hey, guys.... Thanks for the help!

I already tried Noiseware and it does a pretty good job. Maybe I'll try the others, too.

My lips are sealed, thirty2. :)

Thanks Thirty2. In about 15 mins. I was able to find an older version of Noise Ninja 2.0.2 (standalone program, not PS plugin) and a legit key generator that works! Of course I'm going to delete the program after my evaluation period is over.

Now I just need a noisy photo to test it on.

Give Neatimage a try too. Just gotta be careful with it or your shots will come out looking too plastic.

No prob greatphotos...if you need any help using it before your eval is over let me know. I have used it for indoors sports pix and it works great with some practice.

If you all want to see what noise ninja can do, check out my new post with the volleyball girls. They were shot in horrible light at ISO1600. I think they look 20X better.

I have NeatImage and Noise Ninja.
I like more to work with the first, the second is much faster!
