I got shots of this real cute hottie at a baseball game, but like every other shot I post, I'm not sure if any of my editing is screwing the photos up or not. I'm colorblind, so I can't tell if the colors are right, or if it's too much color, ya' know, stuff like that. These may not be good for this voting because of the shadows on her face, but can you let me know which photos look better to you, the first or second of each one. Thanks.

That's it for her closeups.

I feel like I'm at the eye doctor's office...which is better, number one or number two?

Personally, I like the second shots better. It's all a matter of personal preference, though. Unless somebody is paying you for photos, process them the way that pleases YOU.

You'll have your shadows all the time unless you use a fill flash which is impossible for candids. So just enjoy the shadows as added art. I like the shots, she is a sweet one.

The second ones are definitely better, the shadow in the first ones are eclipsing her face.

Funny you should bring this up.

I use Photosuite and if I have a picture similar to those and click the "enhance" button, alot of times it will do the same thing. It brightens the photo (maybe "richer" is a better description) but it also creates a glare, almost like the white balance is off. It oversaturates the image. I think that's what happens. On these, look at how it affected her her nose and cheeks.

Sometimes I use it and sometimes I don't. If it creates what I think is too much glare, I will not use it. I'll try the brightness control. Or another adjustment I have on this program which will increase the "value" to make it lighter.

Like Archman said, you are the final judge.
