Pinhole Adapter for Digital Camcorder ??

There was a thread on here awhile ago about a screw in piece for digital camcorders. Does anyone have any experience with these things for recommend one for a Sony digital ??

Was it really a "pinhole" adapter? There are a couple of cats that are familiar with Sony. I know Seemaya is, somebody will get back to you. But I think they'd ask "what are you talking about specifically?" Or rather what are you trying to do with the camera/camcorder?
