OK, this will mark the end of my "face-shot frenzy" for the time being . . .
Here are a few shots taken more recently with my digital compact (2003-2004). I can't seem to get the same kind of tight face shots with my current camera and its 4x zoom, but I still make the attempt on occasion. I plan to revisit the old technique more often when I finally get my hands on that DSLR I've been dreaming about. I find that the shallow depth-of-field plays a big role in shots like these . . .
