I am a CandidSnobographer. I post to a candid photography site that has the best shooters in the world. Why wouldn't I be snobbish?

If anybody wants my opinion...

Personally, I feel like there are 2 groups of candid shooters. The tasteful group that I've seen here, and a very few other places, and then the sicko's that will do anything to gain "private access" I aint going to lie, I love to see those escalator shots too but I aint going to go shoot them. The only upskirt I'll shoot is if the girl is sitting and seemingly doesn't mind that everyone sees her orange panties! That's different from using some spy camera or something.

Anyway, now I'm getting off subject. I've only been around these parts for a few months, but compared to some of the other places I've seen, this is the classiest place for Candids on the web.

I agree 100% this is the best place for classy photos. Props to the moderators for keeping it that way.

I agree with much of what SnapShotz said. I'm glad I found this place, as the moderators are doing a very fine job of keeping it clean and tasteful. I simply would not post my work to a board full of voyeur/upskirt/etc photos; I don't want my work associated with such material, nor do I ever take such photographs.

Candids are perhaps 20-30% of the photos I take, and something like 40-50% of those are suitable for this board. Old people sitting on benches (and such) obviously aren't. For me, it's about photography, taste and admiration of the beauty that lies out there - capturing moments that would be lost otherwise, but never in a manner that degrades the people I photograph.

Candid Photography is about capturing emotion, in a moment, and then the plus is when a pretty girl is attached to that emotion!!! Ok, Ok, I won't lie, sometimes it's just shooting a nice looking lady that I would not want to forget. But all the other times it's that moment!
