I just posted a series of pics to the public area. I am hoping to get a peek at the Private Area. I don't post a huge volume of my own work, but when I do, it is usually decent quality and containing "good subject matter". I hope the powers that be will let me in for a while.

I have been in the candid community since 2002. I joined the PhilFlash public group then. I was admitted to the Darksaint group in 2003. I also post in the BV/PPP Yahoo! groups. I tried to become active at TCB, but got frustrated with the whole linking to pictures business. Only recently have I discovered how easy linking to pictures has become on Image Shack.

I have a Sony 717 and T1.

Well, I have to go to work.

Thanks for your consideration,

Good day sir.. Nice of you to drop by.. You hang out with some of the best I see... Tell us a little more about yourself so everyone can get to know you better. You know, like where you are from. What kind of a photog are you.. just beach or streets or indoors. Some stuff like that.

I am a single professional in my early thirties. I live in a small town in Alabama so candid opportunities are infrequent and dangerous to pursue. I like to take photos at the beach mainly, but have expanded to events like football and baseball games. I sometimes try to take indoor pics with my Sony T1, but the results are usually poor. When I go to the beach, I go to the Gulf Coast of Florida. I only made one trip this year, but the previous year I went 4 times.

Anyway, I really have to get to the office. :)

is good to see you here brian. I've seen some of your work
and like it. I remember your post about the beaches being
wiped out by the hurricanes.

I used to live in 'bama (clay county), you have got to
hit the festivals many photo ops, and don't forget the
Talladega superspeedway.

Clay County? That is rural, right? I live just outside of Montgomery. Yeah, I have received pics from friends of the Gulf Coast beaches. They are in sad shape. A lot of the trendy clubs on the beach took a hard hit. The Florabama is gone for all intents and purposes. I am a little chicken about hitting festivals. I suppose a photographer would look normal there. I'll have to keep an eye out for them. In the past few months I got some good pics at Auburn football games and at an Atlanta Braves game.
